What you can expect when working with me.

From Inquiry to Final Delivery

If you’ve curious as to what it’s like to work with me, I want to take you behind the scenes and walk you through the entire process — from your first inquiry to receiving your final gallery. Whether you’re a brand new to hiring a product photographer or you’ve worked with creatives before, I aim to make the experience smooth, collaborative, and tailored to your brand.

1. The Inquiry

It all starts with an email or inquiry form on my website. Once I know a bit more about your project — what you’re launching, your timeline, and what kind of content you're looking for, I’ll respond with a few initial questions to help clarify the scope. Sometimes this leads to a quick email exchange, other times we’ll hop on a discovery call to make sure we’re aligned.

2. Proposal & Booking

Based on everything you’ve shared, I’ll send over a custom proposal outlining:

  • The scope of the project

  • Deliverables (photos, video, formats, licensing, etc.)

  • Timeline

  • Pricing and payment schedule

Once you approve the proposal, I’ll send over a contract and invoice to reserve your spot on my calendar. A 50% deposit secures your shoot date.

3. Creative Direction

Next comes the fun part — planning the shoot! I’ll create a shot list, gather visual references, and collaborate with you on the creative direction. Whether you have a strong vision or want to hand it all off to me, I’ve got you. My goal is to make sure your brand’s personality shines through in every image.

If we’re shooting something seasonal, themed, or part of a campaign, this is where we lock in all the details — props, backdrops, surfaces, models (if needed), and styling choices.

4. The Shoot

On shoot day, I bring the vision to life either in my studio or on location. I focus on capturing every detail intentionally — lighting, composition, texture — to make sure each image tells a story and sells your product. You don’t have to be present, but I’ll keep you updated with behind-the-scenes sneak peeks if you’d like.

5. Post-Production

After the shoot, I cull, retouch, and polish your images to perfection. I pay close attention to color accuracy and consistency so everything is web and print ready. Depending on the project scope, I’ll either send a proofing gallery for selection, 1st video draft, or deliver the full set of edited images.

6. Final Delivery

Once editing is complete and the final payment is made, I’ll deliver your images via a downloadable gallery with both high-res and web-size files. If we’ve discussed any additional assets (like Amazon-ready crops, vertical social media versions, etc.), you’ll receive those as well.

And that’s it! From start to finish, my goal is to make things easy for you, create visuals you’re proud of, and help your product stand out in the best possible way.
